It all started with Mr. Sambhaji Patil, the CEO of the Essarcon company, and in 2010 was engaged in photography and Specialized printing business, who was just thinking about entering into a new business.
Back in 2010, after analyzing the local construction market, we found out that there were No lightweight concrete producers in our city and nearby. and the materials required for the construction were coming from a long distance. We searched the equipment for the same and found out two basic types of lightweight block machines.
1. AAC - Autoclaved aerated concrete. Its investment was too High and there were no small machines available for beginners.
2. CLC - Foam concrete. Was in our budget and ideal for a startup. At the same time, an ordinary buyer could not visually tell the difference between aerated concrete and foam concrete.At that time, we were completely sure that we had chosen the right path by selecting foam concrete.
We bought a machine for foam concrete. Soon, when we just started the production to enter the market, We had to experience Three big disappointments at once.
Disappointment #1 . The quality of foam concrete was so poor. We tried every known recipe, but failed to produce a quality block.
Disappointment #2 . Nobody needs foam concrete! As we said, there was practically no competition in this field, but this material was not in demand. At the same time, large queues lined up at the sellers of aerated concrete during the season.
Disappointment #3 . The cost of foam concrete is 10-15% higher than that of aerated concrete. Accordingly, it was absolutely not profitable for me to compete with the producers of aerated concrete.
Then we began to experiment with the recipe, and different foaming techniques but each time it turned out negative results. It took nearly 8 to 10 months when we were able to produce a good, strong, saleable lightweight concrete. Process was somewhat like a fusion of Foam concrete and Autoclaved Aerated concrete. During all this time, we literally threw about 100 tons of cement into the landfill!
Now we had a working recipe but these two materials have different manufacturing techniques, so we had to change the equipment. But now it was much easier to work, because we had already made a small prototype mixer for trial. Instead of purchasing a ready-made machine and stuck again, we decided that we could make the equipment ourselves, and began to search and study the necessary information in various sources.
This was not enough, and soon we were already drawing the first drawings. And made a proto type mixer, mold and a cutting machine. Huhh.. Mixer and mold were ok but there were problems in cutting. We had to redesign the cutting system nearly 6 times to achieve the desired results. It was a really tough time for us.
But now we had a good recipe and self made machines to produce the blocks. We started to sell the blocks in the market.
During the first four years, we were simultaneously engaged in the production of aerated concrete blocks. Simultaneously we were upgrading our equipment to make a better product in an efficient way. Meanwhile, many foam concrete producers visited our factory. When they saw our block quality, they demanded us for similar machinery. Here we started manufacturing machinery for our early clients who were stuck with the foam concrete production.
In 2015 we focused on the production of equipment commercially. Simultaneously producing aerated blocks. Since, the company's staff has been actively expanding, production volumes have increased, and we have also started manufacturing Autoclaved Aerated concrete equipment and dry-mix equipment. Till date, we have already helped to launch More than 55 of aerated concrete plants throughout India,and abroad. and the count is increasing...
